Dark days for PC gaming....

**Incoming Transmission from the depths of Bouli's mind**

My fellow gamers...

These are dark days for PC gaming.

Every game released on the PC as of this month has been met with UBER disappointment.  Gaming companies have made fatal errors and this has cost them our trust.

Ubisoft has slapped the gaming community in the face with its new DRM and anti-theft barriers.  To play a game using this DRM, you have to have a CONSTANT internet connection.  If you lose connection, the game will either crash, shut down, or just die.

Games to have this to date are:

-Silent Hunter 5
-Assassin's Creed 2
-Command and Conquer 4  (EA games thought it would be fun to screw us gamers over AGAIN, by implementing this into there new game.)

Not only must we be constantly online to play a SINGLE PLAYER game or mode, but the newly released games are very very disappointing.

For example, Silent Hunter 5.  The Silent Hunter series have long been the title holder for the best Submarine sim.  Realism, graphics and dedication have made the series a must for gamers.  But Ubisoft has decided to go in the WRONG direction.  They shed 80% of the simulator's realism, they gave all ships an ARCADISH HIT POINT system, ditching the location based damage which everyone loved and have gave it so many graphical glitches, it isn't even funny any more.  Thanks Ubisoft.

A BIGGER disappointment is DEFINITELY Command and Conquer 4.  A game that has been hyped and awaited for so long.  Gamers wanted to see the iconic leader Kane go out with a bang and uphold the true cause of NOD.  But, Alas, this is not what gamers found in the newly released game.  Not only was it plagued with Ubisoft's "Always Online" DRM, it was also a HORRIBLE ending to a greatly loved series.  Again, EA games has chosen to disregard the communities opinions, and change everything that stood for CNC.  No more Base Building?!  Unit Limits?  SERIOUSLY?!   Don't get me started on the storyline.  The campaign is short and pitiful and it was a slap in Kane's face.  EA games, thank you for managing to screw up one of the best RTS series in history.  Long live WESTWOOD!

It seems the PC gaming is being neglected and this is un-acceptable.  I mean, what about the gamers with NO internet, or constant internet?  Developers have basically alienated a portion of there buyers.  Not to mention this will 100% INCREASE Piracy.  Cracked versions of these games that do away with the DRM.  Not that the gaming community would play them...Horrible games.
